Philosophy
100% Conscious & Happy Lifestyle
100% Conscious.
The red dot is the way to depict our new rebirth as a brand, an inner look to understand how we can bring value to the world with our work.
For the Dear tee team, fashion must free itself from past demands and move towards a future we are collectively responsible for.
Happy lifestyle has represented our spirit and inspiration since our beginnings. We not only try to see the positive side of life but we want to convey it and spread it with our garments and messages.
ORGANIC COTTON
2021 Goal
All our garments are 100% cotton, we do not use artificial materials and since 2021 we incorporate organic cotton into our t-shirts.
Our goal for 2021 is to also apply it to sweatshirts. Organic cotton is produced without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
We care about your skin.
Being free of toxic residues, the garment is softer and more breathable, it is hypoallergenic making it suitable for sensitive skin.
Sustainable Economy
Faced with large cotton plantations, organic cotton cultivation favors small farmers, promoting a more sustainable economy.
ZERO STOCK
How does change arise?
In 2018 we considered the need to solve the problem of accumulated stocks that all brands suffer. In early 2020 we decided we needed to change our production model and after 2 years investigating how, we decided to set up our own factory for certain clothing production processes. With this we achieved our goal of zero stock.
What do we achieve with the change?
With this change we achieve producing only sold garments, so there was no longer a need to make large productions as industrial factories demand.
Our way of understanding consumption.
In our understanding, moderate consumption is the first important action for sustainability, but as a brand there must be an obligation for moderate production.
Less is more sustainable
With our Zero Stock system, we demonstrate that you can sell the same amount while producing less, therefore less is more sustainable.
PROXIMITY
No more CO2
As an objective to reduce our CO2 footprint, we do not produce garments in factories that are more than 550 km from our offices.
Among the benefits we can mention:
- Maintenance and improvement of employment in the area, as well as population retention.
- Lower need for packaging and over-packaging, which reduces the use of these elements and the waste they generate.
- Shorter transport distance and less CO2 pollution, due to lower fuel consumption.
DEAR FACTORIES
Dear factories relationships with our factories.
We create trust relationships with our factories, where we ensure that workers are paid hourly wages and not by garments produced.
We have standardized many of our products to avoid wasting materials in the elaboration of samples. We have focused only on products where we can guarantee good quality, control all processes and produce them with partners that guarantee us labor honesty.
